Meet Mama Bear

My name is Mel and I was born and raised in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. I have loved and cared for animals from a very young age and been interested in the veterinary field for as long as I can remember. I moved to the United States when I was 23 and after living in a few different states I have settled in my dream place of Montana. I have worked in the veterinary field for the past 17 years and currently working as a certified veterinary technician in an emergency veterinary clinic. I found my new passion in creating these beautiful pieces for all the sweet pets I see people say goodbye to on a daily basis. It has bring a peace to my heart in sending these keepsakes home to the families to remember their pets in a beautiful manner. I found Mamabear Keepsakes out of a pure passion for my love of animals. Our goals, ambitions and inspirations have come together to form a truly amazing company that all of us are proud to be a part of.
